Holy Cross Heritage Month:
Diverse Ministries of Hope
The ministry and work of Holy Cross in the United States extends beyond parishes and K-8 schools. Our ministries embody bringing hope beyond borders of every sort through a commitment to various apostolates. These include higher education institutions like the University of Notre Dame, King's College, Stonehill College, and the University of Portland, as well as social justice and direct service works such as André House of Arizona (serving the homeless). Lastly, our ministry Ave Maria Press (our Holy Cross publishing house), Holy Cross Family Ministries (Fr. Patrick Peyton, CSC’s ministry that promotes family prayer, especially the Rosary, to foster spiritual well-being and strengthen families worldwide), and Family Theatre Productions (a media ministry of Holy Cross Family Ministries that creates faith-based programs for families to entertain, inspire, and educate through various platforms like digital, television, and radio). Our diverse ministries help us to bring hope in a variety of ways!
Weekly Challenge: Reflect on how you are being called to bring hope to others in your life, work, family, and community.
Prayer Intention:
Let us join our Holy Father Pope Leo XIV throughout this month of February in praying for all children with incurable diseases. Let us pray that they and their families receive the necessary medical care and support, never losing strength and hope.
Rejoice and be glad,
for your reward will be great in heaven.
