IN THE DIOCESE
SHROUD OF TURIN REPLICA WILL BE IN OUR DIOCESE
A full-size replica of the Shroud of Turin, the sacred burial cloth believed to have wrapped the body of Jesus after His crucifixion, is coming to our diocese. The Diocesan Museum in downtown Fort Wayne will permanently display this powerful relic in a free, ecumenical exhibit inviting prayer and reflection. This Lent, as we launch this exhibit, Join Dr. Cheryl H. White, a renowned expert in Shroud studies, for one of three free talks on March 26 and 27 as she explores the Shroud’s history, science, and spiritual significance. Friday 4/4 7:00 PM - Our Lady of the Road will hold a performance of Lisa Wagner-Carollo’s one-person play, Haunted by God: The Life of Dorothy Day This play has been touring the U.S. since May of 1990, and has also been presented internationally at the Pax Christi International Conference in Assisi, Italy in 1995, and at the 1999 Parliament of World Religions in Cape Town, South Africa. It would be great to see you there!
A jubilee year marks a time of renewal in the Church, encouraging the faithful to enter more fully into a life of prayer.

Our annual parish picnic will take place on Sunday, August 20th! Please come with your families to enjoy food from Hacienda, face paint, a bounce house, a firetruck, and yard games as we celebrate our Christ the King community. Tickets are sold to help offset food costs and can be purchased at ---------------. Tickets are $10 per adult, $5 per child, up to max of $30 per family.
Our St. Vincent de Paul Society will host their monthly meeting this Tuesday, May 14 at 7:00pm in the Fr. Tripi Room.
