By the time this reaches your inboxes, All Souls Day will have drawn to a close, and perhaps many of you will have already visited the graves of loved ones buried in cemeteries nearby. However, the whole month of November is a fitting time for holding our dearly departed in prayer in a special way, so for those who may be making trips with your families out to a cemetery in the weeks to come, I commend to you this prayer service from the Book of Blessings, which a lay person can lead when celebrating it their families.
Prayer Intention
Let us join our Holy Father throughout this month of November in pryaing For anyone who has lost a child. We pray that all parents who mourn the loss of a son or daughter find support in their community and receive peace and consolation from the Holy Spirit.
Jesus, because he remains forever, has a priesthood that does not pass away.
Therefore, he is always able to save those who approach God through him,
since he lives forever to make intercession for them.

BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE
Throughout the month of November, we will have our Book of Remembrance in front of the Mary statue. We encourage you to write the names of deceased loved ones in this book, and we’ll pray for them at each Mass during the month of November.
This time table, of course, is still subject to change, but here are the most current dates for the completion of our new vestibule construction:
Friday Nov. 8th: exterior doors open; asphalt and
striping are complete
Thursday Nov. 14th: new vestibule opens
Monday Nov. 18th: landscaping is complete
Sunday Nov. 24th: Bishop Rhoades presides at
12:15pm Mass and blesses the vestibule after Mass Sunday, Dec. 8th: Open House to invite the local
community into our new space: 1:30—3:30 pm

ADULT FAITH FORMATION
Thomas Searle, C.S.C. will be present in the temporary vestibule after all Masses
this weekend to register couples for the Couple Prayer Series!
The Parish is running a Bible study series based on Season 1 of The Chosen on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm.
At each meeting, we will watch an episode and address biblical topics and commentary based on the episodes' main themes. Join us this Wednesday
for Episode 5!

Our annual parish picnic will take place on Sunday, August 20th! Please come with your families to enjoy food from Hacienda, face paint, a bounce house, a firetruck, and yard games as we celebrate our Christ the King community. Our St. Vincent de Paul Society will host their monthly meeting this Tuesday, May 14 at 7:00pm in the Fr. Tripi Room.
